Come celebrate Leif Erickson's Bday the only way we know how — A Viking Disco! If Leif Erikson were alive today, what would he want for his birthday? Obviously: a Viking Disco. And who better to throw it than the Swedish Club? We’ve been around since 1892. We’ve had a lot of time to perfect the party. On October 9, we’re celebrating our favorite Norse explorer with drinks, costumes, a mirror ball, and PROM DATE MIXTAPE. PROM DATE MIXTAPE Prom Date Mixtape brings the ultimate live ’80s New Wave experience to the Swedish Club, playing all the hits you know and love—with a few Swedish favorites thrown in because, well… we are the Swedish Club. ABBA? Roxette? Obviously. This is not a sit-down-and-listen kind of band. This is a get-up-and-dance kind of band. 21+. Bar opens at 5PM. Band plays 7–10PM. Come early, grab a drink, take in the best view of South Lake Union in Seattle, and get your Viking Disco look together. THE DRESS CODE Viking. Disco. Nordic. Fabulous. Fur. Sequins. Chainmail. Rhinestones. Horns. Glitter. Whatever your inner Viking demands. The more dramatic, the better. YOUR TICKET = MORE THAN ONE NIGHT Members: $20 | Non-Members: $50 Non-member tickets include an annual Social Club Membership to the Swedish Club, giving you the opportunity to come back all year long to enjoy our iconic bar, events, community, and incredible views! Valhalla would absolutely approve. Skål!
